‘For me, the planet is one of our most important stakeholders. By including it in our stakeholder analysis, I compel myself to contemplate the impact of every decision.’
Our agenda in 2024 is to further implement our product categories, increase the percentage of BSCI participating suppliers we work with and continue the implementation of our RESPECT strategy.
This is our second sustainability report, and I am very motivated to pushing this agenda forward jointly with our team and hereby support our customers in their sustainability journey.
‘The most vital function of packaging may well be its role in the sustainability dialogue. This intersection of functionality and responsibility is an exciting challenge.’
At Paardekooper, our fascination with packaging extends beyond its traditional functions. We acknowledge its multifaceted characteristics—from protection and preservation to enhancing the customer journey. Yet, its most vital function may well be its role in the sustainability dialogue. This intersection of functionality and responsibility is an exciting challenge

As a nature enthusiast and fanatic kiter, the sight of littered packaging pains me personally. It's a constant reminder of our responsibility to mitigate the impact and footprint of our company and products. This dual impact of packaging—its ability to preserve and pollute—highlights the need for action. Actions based on insights and knowledge. At Paardekooper we have the knowledge, and our mission is to utilise this knowledge to support our customers in their sustainability journey. This mission, and the clear actions behind the words, was also a main motivator for me to join the company last year.
