‘41% of our packaging products in 2024 were more sustainable and 27% more environmentally-conscious.’
Assortment classification

We have already used PowerBI in previous years, to get an automated insight into the range for the products of FRIS and Agri. With the transition of part of the Horti division to a new ERP system in 2024, we were able to connect the transferred data to the assortment classification, providing even more insight.
Because this transition took place in mid-2024, we cannot yet provide a complete picture of Horti’s range in 2024. This is why we are now providing insight into the assortment classification of FRIS and Agri customers. A complete overview will be available to share next year.
We can see that 41% of our packaging products in 2024 were more sustainable and 27% more environmentally-conscious.
We have insight into the entire range and can filter on topics such as recyclability and material type. As you can see, the majority of our packaging range is already recyclable, and a large majority of our packaging products are made of plastic or paper and cardboard. We will continue to work with our employees and customers towards further sustainability in 2025.
We continued to use the assortment classification in 2024 to provide customers with insight into the sustainability of their packaging. Using the assortment classification, we have developed a common language when we talk about a more sustainable or more conscious product, for example. Our customers largely determine our range, and therefore also its degree of sustainability. We take our responsibility to provide our customers with the best possible information about the impact and sustainability of our products, including by using the assortment classification. In doing so, we are committed to reducing the impact of our range.
