During this interesting afternoon we explored solutions concerning more sustainable packaging materials and practices. For example, we looked at the trade-off between paper and plastic, how transport film can be made more sustainable, and how we see the future of e-commerce packaging. Judging from the many enthusiastic responses, it was a successful meeting that inspired the participants.

Working closely with Modint, a trade association, we organised a round table session for their members in June who want to make their packaging more sustainable. With a nice mix of textile producers and retailers, we shared insights and challenges in the market.

‘At Paardekooper we greatly value integrity and transparancy.’

Our core values

Business integrity and transparency

To ensure integrity, we have drawn up a code of conduct. This Code of Conduct provides guidelines for ethical behaviour, honesty and respect in all business interactions. We encourage our employees to report any concerns or violations of the Code of Conduct through our online confidential reporting centre, Speeki, so that we can respond promptly and appropriately.

Transparency is another important aspect of our business operations. We communicate openly and honestly, not only in our daily work but also in this sustainability report for example. In addition, we ensure decisions that affect everyone are communicated as quickly as possible, and that employees have the opportunity to ask questions.
